100 SPOONS
Celebrity Food Tasting Program
"100 Spoons" combines community engagement with the celebrity tasting format to create a program where locals nominate their favorites (Spoons) to then be sampled by celebrities throughout the series.
Based in Daegu the show ran for two seasons, starred Sayuri, Lee Jihye, Baek Boram, and Oh Seungeun. I produced and directed both seasons.
FULL OF CULTURE
Full of Culture is a long-running arts and culture program with an emphasis on showcasing international talent. The show reviews art and performances by some of the world’s most unique and renowned artists, musicians, and performers. Topics during my tenure included the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Sumi Jo, Musical Mamma Mia's original team, Yeol Eum Son, and Les Petits Chanteurs A La Croix de Bois among many others.
As Executive Producer and Director, I planned the art and culture content, then recruited and worked with the celebrity talent, museums, and musical venues to provide performances and interviews for the episodes, which I also directed, and occasionally hosted as well.

K BEAUTY SALON

Following the globally trending K-beauty, K-Pop stars and renowned stylists take over a real beauty salon in Danang, Vietnam, for a week. During the course of the show, they restyle locals while exposing many of the unique attributes of K-beauty.
The show stars K-Pop idols Si-Hwan Park and Ashley, two of K-Pop's most well known stylists, and famous Vietnamese beauty YouTuber Giang Oi.
Managed through TBC's International Division, I had direct responsibility for production, financing, planning, and directing. The program was sponsored by local and national authorities in both Korea and Vietnam, as well as partners in the cosmetics industry.
The 'K Beauty Salon' won the Bronze Remi award from 2020 Houston International Film Festival.

DREAM FIELD DODODO
Korean fervor for education is globally notorious, and extends beyond the daytime classroom. DoDoDo brings professional broadcasting coverage to the after school sports routines of students across the country. Through regular episodes the show celebrates the children's sports accomplishments, while, in touching fashion, demonstrating how friendly competition develops the young generation.
To make the show, I lead a team of producers, directors, DPs, and editors. I was also responsible for financing, budgeting, and and all casting decisions.

RECORD BEYOND THE NUMBER
Producer / Director
March 2009 – October 2011
Record Beyond the Number is an ambitious sports science documentary created to commemorate the 2011 IAAF World Championships in Athletics, hosted in South Korea. As Producer and Director, I led a multi-national production spanning Korea, Japan, China, the USA, and Jamaica, capturing the relentless drive and scientific breakthroughs behind world-class athletic performances.
The project, awarded the prestigious “High Quality Broadcasting Program” designation by the Korean Communication Agency in 2009, received $300,000 in government funding. The documentary aired on SBS nationwide in May 2011 and was exported to seven additional countries, showcasing its global appeal.
Upon release, Record Beyond the Number achieved significant acclaim, ranking second on NAVER, Korea’s largest search engine, for viewer retrieval. It also recorded impressive viewer ratings, cementing its status as a standout production in sports documentary filmmaking.
By blending cutting-edge sports science with compelling human stories, the film not only celebrated athletic excellence but also demonstrated the power of international collaboration and innovative storytelling in connecting audiences worldwide.
