In 2020, I directed and produced The Best of Me as my graduation film at the New York Film Academy. The film explores the evolving relationship between a single mother and her adolescent daughter, focusing on their struggles, misunderstandings, and eventual growth. It highlights themes of communication and empathy. The Best of Me won the Silver Remi Award at the WorldFest Houston International Film Festival, recognizing its emotional depth and impactful storytelling.

In 2019, during the COVID-19 pandemic, I created an audition short film at the New York Film Academy. The story follows a mother and daughter who, despite their deep connection, don’t even realize they are related. It explores the emotional distance and misunderstandings that can exist between family members, reflecting how relationships like those between mothers and daughters—or fathers and sons—can be difficult to fully understand.
